Jennifer Casson Tripucka is the founder of The Local Girl Media Group, Editor-in-Chief of The Hoboken Girl and The Montclair Girl, two of New Jersey’s top lifestyle websites. The Local Girl is a hyper-local group of lifestyle and news websites featuring local businesses, vendors, and other topics. Collectively, the sites have over 200K social followers and a readership of over 4 million users annually.
While she worked on growing The Local Girl and The Hoboken Girl as a side hustle, Jen was a digital editor at Brides magazine of Conde Nast (now Dot Dash). Daily, she created up-to-the-minute celebrity wedding content for Brides.com, created the brand’s daily email newsletter, curated @brides’ social channels, and grew the brand’s following over 200,000 followers (50% growth) in a mere matter of months, as well as headed Brides’ local section, an initiative highlighting the best bridal vendors across the country.
Her work as also been featured in Apartment Therapy, Yahoo, Huffington Post, Forbes, and SELF.
Prior to her media dreams coming to fruition, Jen received a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Communications, bringing a unique perspective to digital world. Her eye for aesthetics is translated into a passion for travel, food, and photography, having worked as a freelance digital photographer and social media consultant for over ten years.
In her spare time, she fosters rescue dogs and is an ambassador and advocate for the American Heart Association + Adult Congenital Heart Associations — being a survivor of Transposition of the Great Arteries surgery. For the last 12 years, she has been living in Hoboken, New Jersey with her husband and two pups.
